Emmett and his animals contest

Emmett decided he wanted to go swimming. So he got Jasper and Alice to go with him. They where at the beach swimming when Emmett decided he wanted to play with his sand toys.

“Emmett, there is turtle coming this way!” Alice called excitedly.

Emmett got up from where he was making his sand castle and ran into the water next to Alice.

“Can I keep him?”  Emmett asked searching the water for the coming turtle.
“Only if you can catch him,” Jasper explained.

Emmett jumped up and down in the water when Alice pointed to a patch of water about seven feet in front of him.

He dove under the water and picked up a turtle shell. When he finally came above the water no turtle came out.

Emmett shook the shell. “Why did you have to die already?” he cried, “I barely got to meet you.”

Jasper tapped on Emmett’s shoulder, “Emmett that’s just a shell, here is one with an actual  turtle inside,” Jasper handed Emmett a new shell with a little turtle head poking out of it.

“I’m going to name you,” Emmett paused thinking as he ran back to his sand toys. “How about Mr. Turtley?” Emmett grinned proudly that he thought of such a brilliant name.

“Mr. Turtley, you need a castle,” Emmett declared as he picked up a sand bucket and started building a sand castle at vampire speed.

Emmett was soon finished building the sand castle and stood back with Mr. Turtley in his hands, admiring his work.

Emmett set Mr. Turtley in the castle to roam around. He sat down on the bucket he was building with and glared at his toes, then started acting like a constipated turtle.

Alice and Jasper noticed Emmett down on all four of his arms and legs crawling around looking weird, and decided to go check on him.

“Emmett what are you doing,” Jasper asked rolling his eyes.

“I’m Mr. Turtley!” Emmett shouted.

“Emmett that turtle was a girl,” Alice explained as he looked at the castle then back again to her.

“Then she looked constipated,” Jasper said to Alice.

“She wasn’t constipated, Jasper, She was pregnant,” Alice told Emmett and Jasper.

“Really? So I’m going to be a grandpa? Cool,” Emmett exclaimed

A car drove by the beach and honked at them. “Emmett, no turtles!” Carlisle shouted and drove away.

Emmett shrugged and turned back around to where the sandcastle was. Or was supposed to be; it got washed away with the tide. Emmett should of built it away from the water.

Emmett collapsed on the ground and started wailing, “No, Mr. Turtley, Why’d you have to leave?”

Alice patted his back. “Emmett, I saw Mr. Turtley swim away in the water. She’ll be fine. At least she’s not dead.” Alice smile.

Emmett got right out of his sadness and jumped up grinning, “That’s a first!”

Emmett, Jasper, and Alice all walked back to the car and drove away, with Emmett waving in the back.

“Good bye, Mr. Turtley, visit soon!”
